Earlier this month we enjoyed lunch in the Eaton Suite Private Dining Room at The Capital Hotel. The Capital is a charming 5 Star Boutique Hotel on Basil Street. The Knightsbridge location sets it in the heart of London’s smartest destinations for shopping, dining and culture alike. Highlights of the area include Harrods, Sloane Street as well as Hyde Park.
The Nth Degree Club enjoyed a starter of Scallop Ceviche – Kohl Rabi, Green Tomatom Lovage served with a Zanotto Prosecco.
This was followed by a Butter Poached King Crab with Dill, Carrot and Rach Dressing served with Denis Bouchacourt Macon-Solutre Bourgogne 2014.
Main was a Pork Belly with Salt Baked Pineapple, Sunflower Seed, Cabbage and Turnip paired with a Carus Vini Baldero Chianti Classico 2015.
Dessert was a stunning Dark Chocolate and Miso Stout Ice Cream with Verjus teamed with a Weingut am Kaiserbaum Lerchenspiel Rieslaner Auslese 2015.
