Robert Walton MBE hosted a special Member’s Drink Soiree at Grosvenor House Suites by Jumeirah Living on Park Lane last week. Situated on London’s exclusive Park Lane, overlooking iconic Hyde Park, Grosvenor House Suites are just moments from the best of London. Guests including Donna Ida Thornton, Amir Gehl of Difference Coffee, members of The Alpha Club, Centurion Club plus Archie Hewlett of Duke & Dexter joined The Nth Degree Club’s Sean Valentine and Mark Abraham for Champagne and cocktails on the balcony to enjoy a spectacular sunset.
Guests enjoyed canapés of cured salmon, avruga caviar, lemon crème fraiche and gin and cucumber pipettes, goats cheese mousse in mini savoury cones, herb roast marinated beef, mash potato crispy shallots mustard dressing, asparagus and parmesan arancini with roasted red pepper coulis in short glasses. Hot food included marinated King prawns, mango and vegetable salad mint dressing, chicken tikka masala with pilaf rice; mini shepard’s pie, tagliatelle pasta with wild mushrooms and truffle oil. Desserts finished off a fabulous evening with carrot pudding with Cardamom crème fraiche and tiramisu.
